4 Bits and tidbits

Kay's family
Rhett and Celeste have a new addition to their family, a daughter born at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12. Her name is McCall, and she weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz, and she is 20 inches long. To quote Rhett, "She is really cute."

Gene's family
We received a Christmas card from Gene and Cheryl: "Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us here. We are all OK here. Cheryl got good news on her last PET scan, no sign of cancer cells, off all treatments for now." That's good news indeed.

On December 8 McKayla Packwood reported on Facebook that she got her braces off. The score or more of exclamation points that followed would indicate she was very happy about that.

Dean's family
Michael and I finished the Isaiah class we drove to Provo every Thursday night for the past ten weeks. It was a great experience.

Our son-in-law Paul Challis just finished his third semester of pharmacy school at Mercer University in Atlanta. Only three semesters more to go! And son-in-law Vince Oveson just finished his semester at the University of Utah.

Jackie's family
Jolene announced on Facebook Thursday that she finished for the semester. She got an 84 percent on her math test, which gave her 91 percent in the class. Way to go, Jolene.
