4 Bits and tidbits

Kay's family
Kay reported on his blog on Wednesday, December 2: "On Sunday evening we had a special fireside in our Stake celebrating the fifty year reunion of the Andes Mission. I spoke, as did President Tyler, Isaias Bravo, and other early stalwarts." Read more here.

In another post on Saturday, December 5, he wrote: "Another change has come and gone. Just as we get close to these guys, they up and go home on us.

"Elder Bray is from North Carolina. His parents came down to pick him up and we want to thank them for bringing us a Honey baked ham that we will use for Christmas to feed the office staff, Tylers, and the assistants." Read even more here.

Dean's family
Our grandson, Miles Peter Halverson (son of Pete and Anna), was blessed and named by his father on Sunday morning, December 6, in the Crystal Heights 2nd Ward in Salt Lake City. Standing in the circle to assist with the blessing were members of Pete's family and some of Anna's family: her grandfather (Marvin Lange), her father (Dean Cleverly), her brother (Talmage), and two brothers-in-law (Cade Hoff and Vince Oveson). Miles is our 18th grandchild (12th grandson).
