Bowl games
BYU beat UTEP 52-24 in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday, December 18. BYU ended its 2010 season much stronger than it began. And Boise State beat Utah 26-3 in the Las Vegas Bowl on Wednesday, December 22. Utah ended its 2010 season much weaker than it began.
A white Christmas
Our daughter Eliza and her family enjoyed a white Christmas in Atlanta. Enough snow fell, with the ice beneath it, that church meetings were canceled the next day. Reports were that this is the first white Christmas in Atlanta since the 1980s. Meanwhile, back here in Utah, where in the valleys it had been raining much of the week before Christmas, we had a drab Christmas. Snow did fall the day after Christmas.
