6 What in the world

Refinery fire
A couple weeks ago there was a big fire at one of the refineries in Woods Cross. A number of homes in the area had to be evacuated, one of which was Rhett and Celeste's. This is what Rhett posted on Tuesday, January 13, about the experience:

"Last night was an exciting night at our house. The Silver Eagle Refinery, which is directly east of our house, had another fire. This is the third fire since May of last year at that refinery. But this was the biggest of the three and the first time they have had an evacuation. We stayed at one of the Refinery Big Wig's who is a neighbor of ours.

"As long as they stayed I felt we would be ok. Mallory at first were worried that our house would be in trouble, and she did have trouble getting to sleep at first. But all is well and we are ok."

Darwin awards
The Darwin awards are bestowed each year, honoring the least evolved among us. Taking this year's number nine spot: The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan, at 5:00 a.m., flashed a gun, and demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast. The man, frustrated, walked away.
