Jerry
I received a call from Jerry yesterday. He was calling to wish me a happy birthday. (Many others of you out there sent me birthday greetings on Facebook). He sounded good but said he has spent a lot of time having numerous medical tests, one of which revealed he had a blocked artery. He said they were not planning any operation for that, just prescribed some medicines. Sometime soon he will be having a colonoscopy.
Dean's family
Pretty much all of our family who live in Utah spent some time in southeastern Idaho during our week at Lava Hot Springs (which runs from Friday, July 16, through Friday, July 23). Pete and Anna went up Friday, Cade and Becca on Saturday, Claudia and I (with Mary and some of Michael's boys and Talmage's son) on Sunday, Michael and Shauna on Monday, Vince and Mary on Wednesday, Rebecca again on Wednesday, and Talmage on Wednesday. Various family members left at various times to return home to Utah. Claudia and I, Michael, Anna, and Mary all came home Monday evening just after celebrating my 61st birthday. We had a great time.
Dale's family
Kira is getting married to David Michael Asay in the Mesa Arizona Temple on Friday, July 30. A reception will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, at 4036 North St. James Loop in Nampa. (If weather is bad, the reception will be held at the church at 607 West Locust Lane in Nampa.)
